TERRAIN
Mostly coniferous forest. Height difference 35m, forms moderate. Runability good, medium and bad.
Map scale 1:15000 or 1:10000. Contour interval 5 m.
ELECTRONIC PUNCHING
EMIT punching system will be used for all groups.
EMIT-card rent LVL 2.00 for all stages. (DIR classes LVL 0.70 per day)
ACCOMMODATION
Event centre and participants' camping in Mailes
LVL 2.50 per night/per tent.
Accommodation on floor 1Ls, in beds in shared rooms 2-2.5Ls
Classes M80, W80 may be introduced if at least 3 eligible participants have entered.
Adult beginner classes M210**, W210**.
Open classes DIR 1 – DIR 4 participants choose class on their own irrespective of the age.
Course lengths are approximate and depend on the day’s terrain; more precise information will be provided in the competition programme booklet.
W8*, M8*, W10*, M10*, W12*, M12* – marked route courses. Punching system - EMIT in the order of visiting the controls. The route is marked in the terrain and shown on the map. Controls are numbered in the order of visiting. The participants can choose between following the marked line on the terrain or choose their own shorter route. In classes W8*and M8* the main prize shall be awarded to the participants who are not aided on the course. For classes W8*, M8*, W10* M10* the controls are placed directly on the marked route, while for classes M12*, W12* they can be placed up to 150 m distant from the marked route.

PRIZE-GIVING
Stage winners will be awarded a prize. In classes M21E and W21E 1st to 6th places will be awarded according to total score for three days. In other classes, the number of participants to be awarded according to total score will be announced on July 2 in the Event centre. A lottery based on participants’ number bibs will be held during the closing ceremony.

Entry fees must be paid until the respective entry deadline.
Entries made after June 18 will have a surcharge of + 50%; class changes (accepted only until 25.06.2012) will be charged LVL 5.00 if there are vacancies. 50% of the paid fee will be retained/claimed from entered participants that fail to show.

Families consisting of 3 and more participants (at least 2 of them not older than MW18) are eligible to 20% discount according to entry deadlines.
DIR1–DIR4 entries and payments shall be made at the corresponding competition centres: classes up to MW18 LVL 3.00 per day; MW20, MW60 and senior LVL 5.00 per day; other classes LVL 7.00 per day.
Car pass – LVL 2.00 (permits driving into the Event centre and competition centres).
Bus pass – LVL 5.00 Minivan (up to 10 seats) LVL 3.00
