2. Venue
The Event Center will be located at Hotel Madona in Madona Town. The World Cup Event will be held in Vidzeme Height, where the highest hill of Latvia Gaiziņš is situated.
The World Cup competition races will take place at Mailes Sports Centre in Vietalva, and the Smeceres Sils Cross Country / Biathlon Sports Centre in Madona.

5. Classes and participation restrictions
M 21, W 21 World Cup (WCup) According to IOF rules each federation may enter a team of 14 competitors (7 women, 7 men) and unlimited number of team officials.
For each individual competition each federation may enter max. 6 men and 6 women.
For the relay competition max. 2 female and 2 male teams.

Open competition for everybody (more information www.kapaok.lv).

6. Terrain / training terrain
Terrain with average passability, height diference up to 50 metres in each competition day.

7. Training opportunities.
In Madona 31. 01-3. 02. The area for ski-o trainig is the same as the competition area on Saturday and Sunday.

8. Entry deadlines.
Preliminary entry by 1 st November 2005 ( Entry form A ). Final entry by 1 st January 2006 ( Entry form B ) Name list entry by 18 th January 2006 ( Name list entry )

9. Visas.
Visa application form should be returned by 1 st November 2005.

Visa application processing fee EUR 10.-/person/.

10. Entry fees for competitors and team officials.

Entry fee for the competitors EUR 120.- / person/.
Entry fee for the officials EUR 25.- /person/.

Fees include transportation from the hotel to the competitions, training on 1st of February, opening ceremony, maps and the banquet.

If participating only in one or two competitions, the entry fee is EUR 45.-./person/ per one start.

The latest date for the payment of the entry fee is 10th. January, 2006.

11. Types and costs of accommodation and meals in Madona.
Accommodation fee for competitors and team officials is calculated from February 1st, 13:00 until February 6 th . Extra accommodation is available at additional fee.

Type A1 per person in hotel /a single or double room/ EUR 150.- /night EUR 30.-/
Type B1 per person in hotel /a double or 3-bed room/ EUR 125.- /night EUR 25.-/
Type C1 per person in hotel /a 3-bed or 4-bed room/ EUR 100.- /night EUR 20.-/
Type E1 per person in hotel /a single, double or 3-bed room/ EUR 85.- /night EUR 17.-/

All the prices include breakfast.

Type A2 per person in hotel /a single or double room/ EUR 200.-/night EUR 40.-/
Type B2 per person in hotel /a double or 3-bed room/ EUR 175.- /night EUR 35.-/
Type C2 per person in hotel /a 3-bed or 4-bed room/ EUR 150.- /night EUR 30.-/

 12. Maps, Scales, vertical contour intervals.

Maps: new ski-orienteering maps printed with laser jet.
Scale: Middle distance and Relay 1:10000, Sprint 1:5000

13. Winning time and approximate length.
According to IOF Rules.

14. EMIT electronic punching system.
Only the e-cards of organizers are accepted. Organizers provide the e-cards and they will be delivered from competition on arrival.

15. Transportation.

16. Media.
The Press Center will be situated in Madona Hotel.
